..nappy headed hoes...

Just who is the nappy headed hoe?

It speaks for itself.

I have a blog entry on Indigo Storm discussing this issue further.

  1. Appalling and inexcusable. Like Michael Richards and Mel Gibson, his apology is hollow. I wonder if he'll go to "rehab" as a way to save his bigoted ass.

  2. OMG, too funny. I hadn't even thought about the rehab angle. I must be slipping. Well, just wait for it. I never knew rehab could help people recover from being assholes. I have some co-workers to talk to, they could use it. Who knew?

  3. Rehab is the agent's way to turn the tide on bad publicity. Like Richards, Imus met with Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton. Now, he's meeting with the Rutgers team. If none of this helps, let's just see if MSNBC and WFAN announce some kind of counseling.

Unfortunately like Richards, Gibson and Isiah Washington, Imus isn't sorry. He's just sorry that the fallout was negative.

  4. Whenever you tip your hand you often reveal more than you intend. It is not just overtly racist, it is misogynistic.

Imus assumed that no one would say anything. He figured that those of a like mind would cheer and those who didn't like it would just not listen to him or watch. I would love to know what happened in that meeting with those young women and the phenomenal coach from Rutgers.

I am so proud of their dignity throughout this whole ordeal. They have been incredible.

  5. The players are amazing young women and Coach Stringer is awesome. They are incredibly talented and classy and they make us all proud.

  6. I, too, was wondering about the "rehab" card. Ri-gosh-damn-diculous.

  7. He didn't get the chance to play that card because he got canned. It's just too much.
